Sailing at night can be the most frightening/ challenging/ scariest thing ever. Everything gets so much more intense, especially if the weather is bad. You are going in blind and cant see fuck all.
On the other hand this is also the time where you get to be a part of the most magical and peaceful times at sea. You get to witness the moment when the sun dips below the horizon and puts the whole sky on fire.
Eventually the moon will arise and lead our way in the dark. A million stars will sparkle above you in the clear night sky and the fluorescense will light up the ocean as the boat glides through. This wild beauty is one of the most spectacular shows I have ever witnessed.
